Job Summary
Perform tire services, battery installations, oil changes, and multi-point inspections while notating vehicle conditions. Execute routine maintenance and calibration of equipment following established company policies. Collaborate with associates to deliver exceptional customer service and complete any additional duties assigned by the store manager. This trainee role focuses on gaining knowledge and experience to work independently as a successful automotive technician. The position requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs in a fast-paced environment with severe climate variances.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 18 years of age
- Valid drivers license
- Acceptable driving history
- Access to reliable transportation
- Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and lift up to at least 50lbs, often repetitively
- Ability to adapt to severe climate variances
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle stressful situations in a professional manner
- Ability to successfully complete pre-employment screenings
