Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues on a range of used vehicles in a dealership service center. Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections. Utilize diagnostic tools to identify and troubleshoot problems, and communicate findings and recommendations to service advisors and customers. Maintain an organized work area and adhere to safety protocols; require strong attention to detail, solid communication, and a commitment to high-quality service.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an automotive technician, preferably in a dealership setting
- Must have own tools
- Strong knowledge of automotive systems and components
- Ability to interpret and follow technical manuals and diagrams
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug test
