Job Summary
Ensure repairs and preventative maintenance are completed per manufacturer specifications and guidelines. Complete required training, perform warranty and recall repairs, and maintain accurate repair histories via documented repair orders. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to provide safe, reliable vehicles while complying with part tracking and health, safety, and environmental standards. Maintain a clean work area and handle objects up to 50 pounds during moderate physical activity. Process fleet, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs as needed. This role is located at the Thornton Service Center with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
- OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications
- Hire with manufacturer training with agreement of obtaining 4 ASE certifications within 12 months of hire
- Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures
- Current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
- No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
- Minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products
- Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
- Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
- At least 18 years of age
Desired Qualifications
- Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
