Job Summary
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles by performing brake jobs, suspension work, alignments, front-end part replacements, preventive maintenance, tire repair, and oil changes. Execute all tasks adhering to MAP guidelines, dealership standards, and manufacturer requirements while utilizing Digital Vehicle Inspections. Work five days per week including Saturdays in a shop environment with moderate to loud noises and potential exposure to dust, fumes, and hazardous materials. Requires standing for eight hours, lifting up to 70 pounds, and bending, stooping, and kneeling regularly. Communicate with customers and shop personnel throughout the shift.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
