Job Summary
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles including brake jobs, suspension components, alignments, front end parts, tire repair/replacement, and oil changes while adhering to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards. Perform preventive maintenance tasks and communicate with customers and shop personnel throughout the shift. Work a minimum of five days per week including Saturdays in a shop environment with moderate to loud noises and exposure to dust, exhaust fumes, and hazardous materials. Lift up to 70 pounds frequently and stand for eight hours daily. Earn $27–$47 per hour plus a $3,000 sign-on bonus eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
