Job Summary
Conduct vehicle repairs and services, including tire mounting, balancing, and lube/oil/filter changes, while performing unsupervised diagnosis of brake, steering, suspension, and cooling systems. Produce accurate repair estimates and document safety inspections using automotive tools, equipment, and software. Communicate repair needs and values to customers and sales staff, working with store management to maintain productivity and profitability standards. Adhere to safety, environmental, and internal control policies while maintaining a clean work area. Requires a high school diploma, valid driver's license, and 1 year of experience with ASE certifications. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with 1-3 ASE certifications
- A valid Driver's License
- Customer service focus in a retail environment
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
- Basic conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry
- Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs
- Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
