Job Summary
Mount, balance, and repair tires; perform oil, filter, and safety inspections; and diagnose unsupervised repairs for brakes, steering, suspension, and cooling systems using VAST and automotive PC software. Produce accurate repair estimates and communicate repair needs and value to customers while adhering to safety, environmental, and internal control standards. Work in a fast-paced retail environment lifting 40-50 lbs. Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, emphasizes treating all customers and employees as family members.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience with 1-3 ASE certifications
- A valid Driver's License
- Customer service focus in a retail environment
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
- Basic conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry
- Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs
- Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
