Job Summary
Mount, balance, and repair tires; perform oil/filter changes and safety inspections on customer vehicles. Diagnose and repair maintenance, brake, steering, suspension, and cooling systems using automotive tools and software like VAST. Produce accurate repair estimates and communicate repair needs to customers in understandable terms. Adhere to safety standards, maintain a clean work area, and collaborate with store management to meet productivity and profitability goals. Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience
- 1-3 ASE certifications
- A valid Driver's License
- Customer service focus in a retail environment
- Ability to lift 40-50 lbs
- Basic conflict resolution skills
- Solid understanding of the automotive tire and auto service industry
- Basic understanding of VAST and automotive PC programs
- Basic math skills to produce accurate repair estimates
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
- Team player
