Job Summary
Midas automotive technician role performing diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance across vehicles using state-of-the-art computer systems; responsibilities include diagnostics, tires and tire repair, heating and A/C, steering and suspension, belts and hoses, radiator and engine cooling, batteries, starting and charging, brakes, oil changes, check engine light, mufflers and exhaust, and visual safety inspections; must be Missouri Safety Inspector certified and capable of working independently while collaborating with peers; tools and shop equipment experience expected.
Required Qualifications
- MUST be certified by the State of Missouri as a Safety inspector
- State-specific auto repair certifications
- Valid driver’s license
- Own tools/equipment (diagnostic scanner / tools preferred also)
- Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
- High School Diploma or equivalent - technical degree a definite plus
