Job Summary
Mobile Automotive Technician position delivering on-site diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs for commercial and medium-duty vehicles at customer locations. Responsibilities include diagnosing and repairing engines, brakes, electrical systems, suspensions, starters, alternators, transmissions, and performing routine services such as oil changes, brake inspections, tune-ups, and tire rotations. The role requires managing a mobile service vehicle, maintaining parts and diagnostic equipment, documenting services in Shop Monkey, and adhering to safety protocols. Candidates should have at least two years of relevant mechanical experience with medium-duty vehicles (e.g., Freightliner, Ford Transit, Dodge ProMaster), hold a valid driver’s license, and preferably ASE certification or equivalent experience. Strong diagnostic skills, ability to work independently, and comfort working outdoors in varying weather are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of mechanical automotive experience with medium-duty vehicles (Freightliner, Ford Transit, Dodge ProMaster)
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Toolbox with essential tools
- Valid automotive technician certification (e.g., ASE) or equivalent experience preferred
