Job Summary
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles by performing brake jobs, suspension work, alignments, front-end part replacements, tire repairs, oil changes, and preventive maintenance while adhering to MAP guidelines and Carmerica standards. Work eight hours daily in the shop, bending, stooping, and lifting up to 70 pounds frequently, communicating with customers and shop personnel. Requires previous automotive technician experience, a valid driver's license, and ability to work five days per week including Saturdays. Earn $20–$30 per hour in total compensation with benefits including tuition reimbursement, medical insurance, and a 401(k) match.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
