Job Summary
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles by performing brake jobs, suspension work, alignments, front-end parts service, tire repair, oil changes, and preventive maintenance. Adhere to MAP guidelines and dealership standards while communicating with customers and shop personnel. Work in a shop environment with moderate to loud noises, dust, and varying temperatures, requiring the ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 70 pounds for eight hours daily. Schedule includes five days per week with Saturday work.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
