Job Summary
Diagnose and repair customer vehicles by performing brake jobs, suspension work, alignments, front-end parts, preventive maintenance, tire repair, and oil changes while adhering to MAP guidelines and manufacturer standards. Communicate with customers and shop personnel throughout the shift. Work five days per week including Saturdays in an environment with moderate to loud noises, dust, and potential exposure to hazardous materials. Requires valid driver's license and previous automotive technician experience.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician experience
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Possess valid driver's license
- Ability to work a minimum of five days per week, including Saturday's
- Stand up to eight hours per day in the shop and able to walk to gain access to various areas of the building
- Bend, stoop, kneel and crouch regularly throughout the day; must have full range of motion with arms and hands and be able to feel, handle or finger objects frequently
- Lift and/or move up to 10 pounds regularly, lift and/or move up to 70 pounds frequently
- Vision sufficient to detect color, depth, and re-focus
