Job Summary
Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions, and electrical systems; perform vehicle diagnostics, repair parts including engines and transmissions, and communicate effectively with team members and customers. Maintain safety protocols and a clean, organized work environment. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and completion of an automotive technician program or equivalent experience; ASE certification is a plus; 5 years of automotive technician experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an automotive technician program or equivalent work experience
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- 5 years as a working automotive technician
Desired Qualifications
- ASE certification a plus
- Experience with under chassis; steering, brake systems, and alignments
- Experience with computer diagnostics, ABS systems, and problem solving basic electrical circuits
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
