Job Summary
Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and air conditioning; perform test-drive vehicles and use diagnostic tools; communicate with Service Advisor about additional service needs and provide time estimates; execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications; coordinate with parts department to obtain parts; document all work on the repair order; participate in manufacturer-sponsored training programs; stay current on technical bulletins; ensure vehicles are kept clean and report safety issues; keep shop area neat and maintain dealership tools; comply with hazardous waste disposal and OSHA requirements; pass pre-employment checks (background, MVR, drug test) and hold a valid driver's license; supported by climate-controlled facility and ongoing employee development.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 Years Previous Automotive Technician Experience Required
- Nissan/Infiniti Experience Preferred
- All applicants must be able to demonstrate ability to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, MVR, drug test, and valid driver's license
