Job Summary
Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems, execute tire and tire repair, and service heating, air conditioning, steering, suspension, belts, hoses, radiators, batteries, brakes, and exhaust systems. Conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections, manage oil changes, and address check engine light issues. Work independently while collaborating with peers on a full-service facility. Maintain adherence to safety and environmental standards for repair facilities.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to repair vehicles independently
- Experience working well in a team environment
- Knowledge in automotive brakes
- Knowledge in automotive exhaust
- Knowledge in automotive suspension
- Knowledge in engine diagnostics
- Track record of high personal productivity
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts
- Experience using shop equipment such as tire changing equipment
- Experience using shop equipment such as alignment machines
- Experience using shop equipment such as scan tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- State-specific auto repair certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
