Job Summary
Perform diagnostics using state-of-the-art computer systems, conduct visual safety and courtesy inspections, and execute repairs for tires, brakes, steering, suspension, cooling systems, and electrical components. Execute oil changes, muffler and exhaust services, and address check engine light issues while maintaining adherence to safety and environmental standards. Work independently and collaboratively within a full-service facility to service both foreign and domestic vehicles. Valid driver's license and ASE certifications required.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to repair vehicles independently
- Experience working well in a team environment
- Knowledge in automotive brakes
- Knowledge in automotive exhaust
- Knowledge in automotive suspension
- Knowledge in automotive engine diagnostics
- Track record of high personal productivity
- Knowledge of, and adherence to, safety and environmental standards for repair facilities
- Experience using shop equipment such as lifts
- Experience using shop equipment such as tire changing equipment
- Experience using shop equipment such as alignment machines
- Experience using shop equipment such as scan tools
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- State-specific auto repair certifications
- Valid driver's license
- Able to service both foreign and domestic vehicles
