Job Summary
Solid hands-on automotive technician role performing routine B-level repairs (brake jobs, suspension repairs, basic electrical work) and oil changes; assist experienced technicians in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues; communicate vehicle issues and repair recommendations to customers; maintain records of services performed and parts used; participate in training and development to stay current with industry trends; collaborate with senior technicians and service advisors to ensure customer satisfaction; uphold Meineke's safety guidelines and procedures while handling tools and vehicle systems.
Required Qualifications
- 2-5 years of experience in auto repair
- Some ASE certifications or equivalent
- Previous experience or technical training in automotive repair is preferred
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and components
- Ability to follow instructions, work effectively in a team environment
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual tasks and lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
