Job Summary
Diagnose and fix vehicles for guests using knowledge of domestic and foreign makes, while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Build experience across a wide range of vehicles by troubleshooting concerns quickly with the service department and collaborating with other technicians to solve problems and meet deadlines. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization throughout the workday. Work in tight spaces, lift over 100 pounds, and operate tools on lifted vehicles while navigating computers and driving manual transmissions. Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing multiple makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
