Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge of foreign and domestic makes and models. Complete accurate digital courtesy inspections and communicate findings effectively with the service department. Troubleshoot guest concerns as part of a team to meet deadlines and deliver exceptional results. Expand technical experience across a wide range of vehicles while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. Work in tight spaces and lift over 100 pounds as dictated by vehicle repair needs.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred
