Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge and skills across domestic and foreign makes and models. Conduct full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while building experience with a wide range of vehicles. Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly, follow high standards of safety and cleanliness, and communicate effectively with the service department. Occasionally lift over 100 pounds, work with tools on lifted vehicles, and navigate a computer efficiently. Meet or exceed hourly goals while seeking solutions to tough problems. Christian Brothers Automotive provides real-time technical support, continuous training, and a climate-controlled shop environment.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve our guests
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications Preferred
