Job Summary
Diagnose and repair domestic and foreign vehicles while completing full, accurate courtesy inspections. Collaborate with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly, promote safety and cleanliness standards, and meet repair deadlines. Build experience across a wide range of makes and models through continuous training. This role requires 5+ years of automotive experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to lift over 100 pounds and work in tight spaces. Candidates must meet hourly goals and possess strong communication skills. Christian Brothers Automotive offers paid continuous training up to 30 hours annually and access to factory scan tools.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
