Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles across domestic and foreign makes while completing full, accurate courtesy inspections. Collaborate with the service department to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly, meet repair deadlines, and deliver distinguished results. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while working in tight spaces and using tools on lifted vehicles. Build experience continuously through paid training up to 30 hours annually.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
