Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge of domestic and foreign makes, while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Collaborate with the service department and other technicians to troubleshoot concerns quickly, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization throughout the workday. This role requires 3+ years of automotive experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to lift over 100 pounds and work in tight spaces. Candidates must meet or exceed hourly goals and navigate computer systems efficiently. Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance
- Strong communication
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
