Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles across domestic and foreign makes, completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Collaborate with the service department to troubleshoot customer concerns, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results while maintaining high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. Build experience continuously as a mechanic for a locally owned shop offering real-time technical support, paid vacation, and closed weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude
- Desire to serve customers
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance
- Strong communication
- Desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
