Job Summary
Diagnose and fix vehicles for guests while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Troubleshoot guest concerns quickly with a team to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results across domestic and foreign makes. Maintain high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating effectively with the service department. This role requires 3+ years of experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to work with tools on lifted vehicles and in tight spaces. Christian Brothers Automotive offers modern facilities with factory scan tools, consistent workloads, and free training at all 300+ locations.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
