Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge of domestic and foreign makes, while completing full, accurate, and honest courtesy inspections. Collaborate with the team to troubleshoot concerns quickly, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results by following high standards of safety and organization. Build experience across a wide range of vehicles while communicating guest concerns effectively with the service department.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- Master L1 Technician or A-level tech preferred
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
