Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge of domestic and foreign makes. Perform full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while building experience across a wide range of vehicles. Troubleshoot guest concerns quickly with the service department, promoting high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. Solve problems to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results. Occasionally lift over 100 pounds and work in tight spaces. Christian Brothers Automotive offers modern diagnostic equipment, free training, and consistent workloads.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- Master L1 Technician or A-level tech preferred
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
