Job Summary
Automotive Technician / Mechanic needed to diagnose and repair a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, complete accurate courtesy inspections, and collaborate with the service team to quickly address guest concerns. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing vehicles, building experience across various makes/models, maintaining safety and cleanliness standards, communicating effectively with the service department, solving problems with other technicians to meet deadlines, and supporting long-term career development. The role requires lifting up to 100 pounds, working with tools on elevated components, driving manual transmissions, and using a computer during work.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
