Job Summary
Automotive Technician/Mechanic needed for a brand-new state-of-the-art Christian Brothers Automotive shop in Bolivia, NC. Responsibilities include diagnosing and fixing vehicles for guests, building experience across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles, completing full, honest courtesy vehicle inspections, working as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly, promoting safety, cleanliness, and organization, communicating customer concerns to the service department, and collaborating with other Technicians to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results. Requires a positive attitude, strong communication, a drive for long-term career development, and the ability to work with tools on vehicles lifted above the head and in tight spaces; ASE certifications are preferred or in progress. The role emphasizes guest service, quality workmanship, and adherence to safety standards in a climate-controlled environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Be able to drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
