Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests using knowledge of domestic and foreign makes. Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while troubleshooting guest concerns quickly. Work as part of a team to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results. Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization. Occasionally lift over 100 pounds, work with tools on lifted vehicles, and navigate a computer efficiently. Meet or exceed hourly goals within a guaranteed hourly plus performance incentive program.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guests
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- MI state certifications
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance
- Strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
