Job Summary
Diagnose and fix vehicles for guests using knowledge across domestic and foreign makes and models. Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while working as part of a team to troubleshoot concerns quickly. Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating effectively with the service department. Continuously build experience meeting hourly goals and solving problems to deliver distinguished results.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
