Job Summary
Technicians diagnose and repair vehicles for guests across domestic and foreign makes/models, complete courtesy vehicle inspections, and work as part of a team to troubleshoot customer concerns quickly and effectively. They follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization, communicate customer concerns effectively with the service department, and collaborate with other technicians to meet deadlines and deliver distinguished results. The role requires a positive attitude, the ability to lift and move heavy objects, comfort working with tools on vehicles lifted above head, walking/standing for long periods, and driving manual transmissions. The position is within Christian Brothers Automotive’s network, with local franchise ownership handling employment matters.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Meet or exceed hourly goals
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
