Job Summary
Diagnose and repair vehicles for guests by building experience across domestic and foreign makes and models. Perform full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections while troubleshooting concerns quickly within a team. Follow high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization while communicating effectively with the service department to meet deadlines. Occasionally lift over 100 pounds and work in tight spaces using hand tools and computer systems. Requires 3+ years of experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to navigate manual transmissions. Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Capable of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
Desired Qualifications
