Job Summary
Automotive Technician / Mechanic in a full-time role at All Tune Tamarac-6151 in Tamarac, FL. Responsibilities include diagnostics, inspections, maintenance, and repairs on all makes/models; servicing brakes, suspension, steering, electrical systems, and HVAC; ensuring high-quality repairs per company procedures; clear communication with service advisors and team; maintaining a clean, safe work area; mentoring less-experienced technicians; and ensuring safety/quality standards. Opportunities for advancement toward Master Technician or shop leadership roles. Requires 3+ years in a professional automotive shop, EPA 609 HVAC certification (or within 60 days), and ASE certification preferred, with tools, valid FL license, ability to lift 50 lbs; typical schedule Monday–Friday 8am–6pm, occasional weekends; approx. 45 hours/week.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional automotive shop environment
- At least 1 ASE certification preferred (not required)
- Section 609 EPA Certification for automotive HVAC (required or must obtain within 60 days)
- Comfortable using modern diagnostic tools and repair equipment
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Must provide personal hand and specialty tools
- Valid Florida driver’s license and clean driving record
- Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50 lbs.
- Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to learning
- Reliable transportation to commute to Tamarac, FL
