Job Summary
Diagnose and repair all makes and models of vehicles using modern factory scan tools and manufacturer-level diagnostic equipment. Perform daily maintenance and repair tasks while occasionally lifting over 100 pounds and working in tight spaces. Work consistently within a clean, organized shop environment with steady work flow and no weekends. Christian Brothers Automotive provides free training, full-time live technician support, and access to a private Technician Assistance Center. This role requires 5+ years of experience, ASE certifications preferred, and the ability to meet or exceed hourly goals.
Required Qualifications
- Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
- 5+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
- Strong capability of diagnosing and repairing all makes/models of vehicles
- Strong Leadership and communication skills
- Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
- Professional appearance and strong communication
- A desire for long-term career development
- Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
- Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
- Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
- Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
- Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
- Drive manual transmissions vehicles
- Efficiently navigate a computer
