Job Summary
Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems on cars, vans, and light trucks; perform engine tune-ups and troubleshoot complex vehicle issues; repair or replace parts and components as needed; conduct routine maintenance, including cleaning and lubrication; maintain a clean and safe work environment; provide courteous, efficient customer service; communicate operational concerns to management in a timely manner; work independently and collaboratively with the team.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive technician/mechanic experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Good set of tools (specialty tools provided)
- Knowledge of mechanical systems and repair techniques
- Strong attention to detail and safety practices
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and staff
- Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Able to prioritize tasks and handle urgent repairs
- Works independently and as part of a team
