Job Summary
Senior Automotive Technician responsible for diagnosing and repairing customer vehicles with accuracy and efficiency, following MAP guidelines and dealership/manufacturer repair standards. Performs complex and heavy-duty repairs, conducts multi-point inspections, documents recommendations in the customer file, and communicates diagnostic results and needed repairs to customers and store staff. Requires ASE certifications (or equivalent experience), valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent; opportunity for advancement, competitive bi-weekly pay, and benefits including tuition reimbursement and medical/dental/vision coverage. Work schedule may include weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Previous automotive technician / mechanic experience required
- ASE certifications in lieu of experience
- Ability to demonstrate proper use of computerized equipment for diagnostics
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Possess State Inspector License or ability to obtain a State Inspector license (in applicable locations) within 30 days of hire date
- High School Diploma or equivalent; Technical School experience preferred
