Job Summary

Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to manufacturers' specifications and guidelines. Complete required manufacturer's training, perform warranty and recall repairs, and maintain vehicle repair history by documenting Repair Orders. Utilize diagnostic tools and software to provide safe and reliable vehicles while complying with part and inventory tracking procedures. Maintain the work area in a safe and clean condition and follow health, safety, and environmental standards. Perform manual labor including lifting objects up to 50 pounds and working extended periods on feet. Process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs as required.

Required Qualifications

  • Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
  • OEM training/Certification OR 4 current and valid ASE certifications
  • Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures
  • Current and valid driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at-fault accidents on driving record within the past 3 years
  • No drug or alcohol related convictions on driving record within the past 5 years (DUI/DWI)
  • Minimum of basic level experience and understanding of a PC and Microsoft Office Products
  • Authorization to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
  • Ability to complete a pre-employment drug test and will be subject to random drug and alcohol testing
  • At least 18 years of age
  • Ownership of standard hand tools to perform repairs and maintenance on current vehicles (produced in the last 5 years)
  • Experience using repair shop testing and service equipment
  • High school diploma / GED
  • Ability to understand, read, write, and speak English
  • Ability to work a flexible full-time (40 hour/week) EVENING shift schedule, 2:30pm-10:30pm, including weekends and holidays

Desired Qualifications

  • Understanding of GM, Ford, Toyota, and Chrysler warranty procedures is a plus
