Job Summary
Prepare for and instruct established curriculum and lesson plans to students in a professional manner. Answer student questions as they arise, ensure awareness of safety policies, and monitor correct procedures. Manage classroom activity including lecturing, student assistance, and lab setup, while resolving attendance and behavioral issues. Record student attendance, grades, and interactions in files and databases. Attend periodic trainings to maintain field currency and improve teaching strategies. Work with Program Supervisor to initiate student support plans and warnings as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Automotive degree or certificate program from an accredited college
- 3 years and 4000 hours of field experience
- 5 years and 10,000 hours of field experience
