Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Audi South Austin performing vehicle service and repair duties per dealership and manufacturer guidelines. Responsibilities include examining customer vehicles, identifying necessary repairs, estimating costs, performing repairs and maintenance, documenting services, coordinating parts, maintaining CSI and a safe organized work area, and adhering to safety and core values. Requires extensive automotive parts knowledge, 5+ years of hands-on experience, valid driver’s license, and manufacturer/NAPA training plus ASE qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Driver’s License
- Certified/senior technician with respective manufacturer
- State inspection/emissions license
- All required manufacturer fundamental training and/or NAPA training provided by HAG
- Meets and/or exceeds manufacturer requirements for ASE tests
- Completed manufacturer training to perform: warranty repairs/recalls on most vehicles, PDI’s, maintenance, and minor repairs
- Thorough knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- 5+ years of automotive service experience
- Education: High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent)
