Job Summary
Ensure all repairs and preventative maintenance are completed according to manufacturer specifications and guidelines. Complete required manufacturer training, perform warranty and recall repairs, and document repair history via Repair Orders. Maintain a safe and clean work area while utilizing diagnostic software and scan tools for multiple vehicle makes. May process new fleet, LOFR, tires, fuel reclamation, or buy-backs. Requires manual labor involving lifting up to 50 pounds and extended standing. Work Monday through Friday in the Norfolk Service Center. Starting pay is $29–33 per hour with overtime availability and a $2 differential for the second shift. Full-time benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k with match, profit sharing, and paid time off.
Required Qualifications
- Two years of mechanical experience in an automotive repair shop servicing current model vehicles
- OEM Level III Certification OR 4 current ASE certifications
- Valid driver's license with no more than 2 convicted moving violations and/or at-fault accidents
- No drug or alcohol related incidents with the past 3 years
- Total points on driving record cannot exceed 8 points
- Authorized to work in the United States and not require work authorization sponsorship
- Must be able to complete a pre-employment drug test
- Subject to random drug and alcohol testing
- Must be able to work a full-time shift for the one of the following schedules: Monday - Friday: 11:30am - 8:00pm
