Job Summary
Automotive Technician role focused on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance from experienced technicians. Responsibilities include changing oil and performing scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems, installing batteries and checking electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. Opportunity to obtain ASE certifications (A.S.E. certifications) within the first two years; bonus structure tied to tests passed. Strong emphasis on customer service, ability to explain repair procedures to customers, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, Basic inspections, Repairing tires, Reading, writing, and math skills
