Job Summary
Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles within Bridgestone Retail Operations. Responsibilities include changing oil and performing scheduled maintenance, inspecting steering, suspension, and brake systems, installing batteries and checking electrical systems, performing tire maintenance, installing parts, and road testing vehicles. The role may involve interacting with customers to explain repair procedures and provide high-quality service. Minimum qualifications emphasize learning basic mechanical tasks, a valid driver's license, and basic math, reading, and writing skills; ASE certification or equivalent qualifications are preferred. Compensation features a flat-rate pay structure with regionally reflected average productivity, with guaranteed pay meeting applicable minimum wage. The position offers opportunities for ASE certifications within the first two years and potential bonus for tests passed.
