Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. Under supervision, you learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles, including oil changes, inspections of steering, suspension, and brake systems, battery installation, electrical checks, tire maintenance, and road testing. You may interact with customers to explain repair procedures and provide exceptional service. The role emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and delivering high-quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. The position offers a $1,500 sign-on bonus for first-time hours, with a pay range of $17.50-$26.30 per hour using a flat-rate pay model. Minimum qualifications include the ability to learn basic mechanical tasks and a valid driver’s license; ASE certifications are encouraged with potential bonuses for tests completed, and two years of automotive repair experience or related training preferred.
