Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) responsible for learning and performing foundational automotive diagnostic, repair, and maintenance tasks under supervision. role includes oil changes, tire maintenance, inspections of steering/suspension/brake systems, battery installation, electrical system checks, and occasional road testing; interaction with customers to explain repairs and provide high-quality service. Opportunity to obtain ASE certifications within two years of employment and participate in a performance-based, flat-rate pay structure. Requires a valid driver's license, basic mechanical aptitude, and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced retail service environment. Preferred qualifications include 2 years of automotive repair experience or related technical training and ASE certification or equivalent credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Must have a valid automobile driver's license at all times and be able to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, Basic inspections, Repairing tires, Reading, writing, and math skills
