Job Summary
Automotive Technician role within Bridgestone Retail Operations: diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles under supervision; perform oil changes, inspections (steering, suspension, brakes), tire maintenance, battery installation, and basic electrical checks; road-test vehicles and assist customers in understanding repairs; pursue ASE certifications within two years; requires valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude; flat-rate pay structure with regionally adjusted rates.
Required Qualifications
- Valid automobile driver's license (must be able to drive customer and company vehicles)
- Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services including oil changes
- Basic reading, writing, and math skills
- Able to perform oil changes, tire maintenance, inspections of steering/suspension/brake systems, install batteries, check electrical systems, road test vehicles
