Job Summary
Automotive Technician at Bridgestone Retail Operations (BSRO) responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining vehicles under guidance of experienced technicians; perform oil changes, inspect steering/suspension/brake systems, install batteries, perform tire maintenance, install parts, road test vehicles, and communicate with customers about repair procedures; operate under flat-rate pay with regional variation; ASE certification within two years; requires valid driver’s license and basic mechanical aptitude; preferred candidates have 2 years of automotive repair experience or related vocational training; benefits include medical/dental/vision, paid vacation/holidays, on-the-job training, 401(k) match, and eligibility for ASE certifications.
Required Qualifications
- Able to learn basic mechanical tasks
- Valid automobile driver's license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles
- Basic understanding of automotive maintenance & tire repair services including: Oil changes, basic inspections, repairing tires
- Reading, writing, and math skills
