Job Summary
Perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoot issues to ensure appropriate vehicle performance. Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge while analyzing and diagnosing problems, then inspect, replace, and repair defective parts during preventative maintenance. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area while adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the company's vision, mission, and core values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, managers, and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' automotive service, automotive mechanic, and/or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
- Must have Technician Tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate and drive vehicles
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background screen
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
