Job Summary
Perform basic and advanced car maintenance and repair tasks, inspect vehicles for potential problems, and troubleshoot issues to ensure appropriate vehicle performance. Apply in-depth automotive repair knowledge to diagnose and fix defective parts while conducting preventative maintenance. Operate vehicles and maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area by adhering to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards. Continuously learn new technical information and techniques to stay abreast with rapidly changing automotive technology.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years' automotive service, automotive mechanic, and/or engine diagnostic experience in a professional capacity
- Must have Technician Tools
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to operate and drive vehicles
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Top-notch customer service skills with a desire to build long term trust and relationships with our customers
- Willingness to work Saturdays and/or Sundays
- Prolonged periods of standing, stooping, and bending
- At time, exerting 50 - 100 lbs of force occasionally and/or 10 - 25 lbs of force frequently and/or greater than 10 lbs of force constantly to move objects
- Requires working at a production rate pace entailing the constant pushing and/or pulling of materials
